About the Trainee Programme:

As a Trainee in Telenor, you are embarking on a 12-month program, consisting of three rotations: two six-month rotations in Norway and a one-monthrotation spent abroad in one of our foreign operations.You will be assigned to roles with high-impact, and work onkey technicaland commercialprojects where you –together with your team -will solve complex and entrepreneurial business tasks. You will be mentored closely by experienced team members and receive coaching from Telenor’s best experts and leaders within your domain. Examples of projects you can be assigned to are within virtualization of networks, advanced analytics, 5G, artificial intelligence, product innovation, and other high impact initiatives in Telenor. Who are welooking for?

Qualifications:

                • Young professionals in their finalyear of studies or recently graduated within technology, informatics, engineering, industrial economics and technology management, business,or entrepreneurship studies.
                • It will be valued if you have experience from Internships, part-time positions or other experience from technology companies, start-ups or in other innovation projects.
                • You are passionate about innovative technology and thrive to develop new insight. It is an advantage if you can show that you have used this passion in an extracurricular or in creating something of value.
                • You need to possess strong English skills.
                • Candidates must be a resident or hold a valid work permit in Schengen-area.

                • You are curiousand not afraid of trying and failing together with your team.
                • You are enthusiastic about your work and driven by the ability to continuously improve.
                • You are proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
                • You work independently and take clear ownership of your areas of responsibilities

Practical information:

  • The positions are located at Fornebu, Norway and the Trainee Programme will begin in August 2021.
  • Application deadline is December 1st.

Expected timeline:

  • 1. November -1. December: Application period
  • 1. -11. December: First screening/selection; selected candidates will receive an e-mail where he/she will be asked to complete 3 ability tests (online).
  • 14. 21. December: Second screening; selected candidates will be asked to answer questions using a video solution
  • 4. -31. January: Third screening; interviews (including case). Telenor will conduct reference-and back ground checks on finalist candidates
  • Early February: offers will be extended to finalist candidates
