We are seeking an Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our Research & Development Department in our Electrification, Automation and Digitalization business unit. Your Profile
- Higher education in electrical engineering with electrical power systems understanding or related field.
- Knowledge with electrical power system design, modelling, stability, and testing.
- Knowledge with power equipment like converters, switches, transformers, and energy storage.
Your responsibilities
As an Electrical Power Systems Engineer, you will have system responsibility in a multidisciplinary (mechanical, electrical power, control system) team working with studies and development of electrical power equipment and systems. This includes performing power system calculations and simulations (e.g. MATLAB), electrical design of equipment / systems, writing technical specifications, writing test procedures, performing testing etc.
We are looking for a hands-on person, with a proactive attitude to take responsibility in the R&D projects. The position is interacting with international teams with different cultures. We expect you to be an excellent communicator and collaborator with a proactive attitude. The working language is English, but competence in one of the Scandinavian languages is beneficial.
